New technology invites ongoing dialogue between community and district

Thermal, CA -   — Building on its dedication to outstanding communication and responsiveness, CVUSD announces Let’s Talk!, a simple way to monitor the pulse of its community by giving parents, teachers, staff, students and community members a 24/7 outlet for ideas, concerns and praise.

Designed by technology and communications firm K12 Insight, Let’s Talk! is an open feedback form on the district website where anyone can submit questions, concerns, suggestions and compliments directly to district staff  anytime, anywhere, from any device.

“Let’s Talk! reflects our belief that every voice should be heard,” said Dr. Darryl Adams “Now anyone in our community can easily let us know exactly what’s on his or her mind. We’re here to serve our constituents, so we’re thrilled to offer a way to easily engage in a productive dialogue.”

Let’s Talk! is based on the premise that every opinion is an opportunity for progress. It enhances and simplifies communication not only because it’s always accessible, but also because — unlike postings on social media — Let’s Talk! allows every comment to be carefully considered and directed to appropriate staff for follow-up.

Participants may leave their contact information or choose to remain anonymous. Submissions that include an email address will receive a response within 48 hours. Candid feedback is not only accepted, but appreciated.

“Our community is our greatest resource,” said Dr. Adams. “Let’s Talk! encourages candid conversations that strengthen relationships, resolve problems and promote collaborative success.”
