The Board and I want to thank the Dean Jandt, the Northern Trust and the Desert Literacy Society for allowing Mrs. Schwartz and Dr. Boffa's CVHS and DMHS students to meet and talk with Author Hector Tobar! Mr. Tobar's book "The Untold Stories of 33 Men Buried in a Chilean Mine, and the Miracle That Set Them Free has been made into a movie to be released in late 2015 or early 2016 starting Antonio Banderas and Lou Diamond Philips!

We would also like to thank award winning speaker and professional development expert Retired Lt. Col. The Family Leadership Institute will culminate with leadership conducted by recognized author and professional basketball player Stedman Graham!
