The Coachella Valley Education Foundation’s efforts are directed to raising supplementary and matching funds for the students of the Coachella Valley Unified School District in those areas for which the public funding is inadequate or unavailable. In partnership with the community and the business sector, the Coachella Valley Education Foundation provides the school district with funding to enhance academic programs for all students.
The Coachella Valley Education Foundation wishes to acknowledge and THANK the following CVUSD staff and community members for contributing to the 2012 Dollars for Scholars scholarship campaign!
$4,723.00 dollars were raised to support the CVUSD/CVEF Cara Hrycyk Scholarship fund. Two students from the CVHS Class of 2012 were each awarded a $1,000 scholarship. This year, seniors from all our all high schools (CV, DM, WS, and La Familia) will be able to apply. Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to one male and one female CVUSD graduate.
